SHOW NOTES
Mighty Max was a TV show and line of toys in the mid-90’s. If you ever owned or knew of Polly Pocket toys, this was the boy’s version. The toys were round, they fit in the palm of your hand, and would open up to reveal some sort of hijinks on the inside. They didn’t all look as much like a turd as the Temple of Venom shown here, (image taken from Wikipedia’s Mighty Max page). A great resource for further info is Mike’s Toybox.
Ben’s a big fan of Nigel Ng’s character Uncle Roger on YouTube. We’ve embedded his 3M Subscriber Special below, for your viewing pleasure.
HOW TO SUPPORT THE SHOW
Our plan is that this show will always be available for free, but super fans are encouraged to support The Conversation Hat via Patreon. We ask listeners to consider how much they pay for services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, and apply the same logic to our show - do you feel our show is worth $1 a month? $5? $50? Whatever you think is right! We’re giving all our patrons an exclusive extra question from each episode and early access to each show. Check it out over on Patreon.
How incredible does our new merch look? Check out the Conversation Hat Merch Store on TeePublic! We have shirts, hoodies, mugs and much more besides.
If you'd like to support the show without spending any money, (which is still hugely appreciated), there are a few ways you can do that:
Follow us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook where we post new episode info, inside gossip and poorly thought-through jokes. Bonus points for sharing our most recent episode links;
Subscribe to our YouTube channel to see sketches, episode highlights, and to leave some nice comments too;
Join us for our livestreams on Twitch, on the first Sunday of every month plus occasional gaming streams in between;
Leave us a review on whatever listening platform you use is also very helpful, especially on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser.
Finally, tell a friend about the show. Ideally someone who’d enjoy it. Word of mouth is still super powerful.
