Stuart "Ashens" Ashen is, amongst many things, a well-known YouTuber who's channel is dedicated to reviewing oddities, games and gadgets - usually knock-offs of successful products and brands. He also co-hosts the Barshens YouTube channel and podcast with Barry Lewis of MyVirginKitchen and has a variety of film, TV and web credits to his name.
We caught-up with Stuart during Norwich Gaming Fest 2018 to talk about the musicals of our life, advice for first dates, social media fads that bother us and how come Will Smith don't rap no more?
You can find out more about Ashens on his website, Ashens.com

SHOW NOTES
Ashens created a name for himself on YouTube by reviewing gadgets and oddities in his trademark dry and sarcastic style, often seeking the practical use of such items. Below is a great example of his content, which we mentioned in the show - Panda Extravaganza!
Surf Nazis Must Die is a 1987 film set in the post-apocalypse, in which a gun-wielding woman is forced to take revenge on the neo-Nazi surf-punks who murdered her son. It has an awkward 3.5/10 on IMDb, and 20% on Rotten Tomatoes. If you want to watch the film for yourself and make up your own mind, (I mean, don't...), you can find the DVD or Blu-Ray on Amazon.co.uk.
Day of theTentacle is an incredible LucasArts point-and-click game from 1993, the follow-up to 1987's Maniac Mansion - the same company who brought us the Monkey Island series and Discworld games. Gameplay involves a world-conquering, colourful tentacles, time travelling toilets and coffee. A remastered version of the game is available on Steam.
