Irregular guest and long-time chum Si Pettit joins us this week to answer questions from the insatiable Hat. Si Pettit is a regular collaborator and plays bass in London good-time grungers, Subterranean Popular. We chat about TV shows we wish were brought back, grave robbing vs archaeology, and materials for false teeth.
You can get more info on Subterranean Popular, including future performances, on their Facebook page.
This episode includes a sketch entitled The Invention - written by Liam, Laura and Si, with music by Liam and Si.

SHOW NOTES
Ben's choice of show to resurrect is V, a 2009 recreation of an 80's sci-fi mini-series. The show combines sci-fi with David Icke's reptilian conspiracy - spaceships appear on earth and it turns out that lizards have infiltrated various positions of power in an effort to take over the world. The show follows a group of rebels opposing the reptilian agenda.a
Liam watched a lot of Knightmare - a cheesy, fantastical kids show broadcast between the late 80's and mid 90's. Imagine Dungeons & Dragons for kids but rather than using their imagination we just shoved them in front of a blue/green scree and cheesily superimposed environments and monsters on top. Liam maintains "it was the best, I will fight you." Knightmare Live is a loving but irreverent recreation of the original show in a live environment and feels more like a comedy show - you can get info on Knightmare Live on their website.
Firefly was a sci-fi show much beloved by it's fans and boy, do they go on about it. Created by Joss Wheedon, the show follows pilot and "space cowboy" Mal Reynolds and his crew variously trading, smuggling and charmingly ner-do-welling. The show only ran for one season, leaving die-hard fans distraught, but many believe that a re-boot could never live up to the hype.
We loved Lauren's Serenity, (the ship from Firefly) design for the thumbnail that we designed some merch around it. You can get phone covers, various bags, mugs, shirts, hoodies and all sorts! Check those out on Redbubble.com now!
